This is a great place to stay just a few miles from Calais. Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. The hotel restaurant, just across the road, served great food too. Apart from the hotel and two other restaurants, there is nothing else in the village, so it is very quiet.

This hotel ticks all the boxes. Classed as a two star but offers so much more.
Like a lot of others have stayed here on numerous occasions and always enjoy.
The area is wonderful, never changes just like Hotel L'Escale where the standards are maintained at a high level.
Perfect for a short break or at the end or beginning of a longer trip to France.

We have stayed here many times and always enjoy the experience. This time we went with two friends who had stayed with us once before just for one night but really enjoyed the food, both at breakfast and at the restaurant across the road.the seafood was excellent. This time we enjoyed to meals in the restaurant and they did not disappoint only that they had run out of the Cotes de Rhone we enjoyed on the first night!! However the alternative was excellent. All the staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The garden is very pleasant and it was lovely to relax on the sun beds after a busy day buying wine! We will be back.

Room Tip: We had room 45 on both our recent visits and it was very nice on the first floor with a bath and a shower.

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Despite the numbers of English staying there, it remains a French experience-so don't expect tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Some people may find them small but how much time do you spend in a room? The staff is friendly and professional and there is plenty of parking.
We ate in the restaurant and were not disappointed, last year it seemed to have lost its shine but this year the dishes served were imaginative and well prepared. The coastline here is stunning and it well worth bringing walking shoes.

We stayed at this hotel for the first time this month. It is quite large and building works suggest it is expanding further. Escalles is one of many lovely villgages along this part of the French coast and the coastline is amazing.Lots of paths for walkers. Motorbikers will love the cliff top roads! We booked a Superior room and was a little dissapointed in it's size - really quite small. Having said that it was very clean with a lovely en-suite. (extra pillows.........love that!). Again though, given a 'Superior Room',no tea and coffee facilities. The staff were without exception friendly and accomodating. The only reason we have down marked service is that there is no room service and no night porter. No one is available after 10.30pm when you may want to order a coffee etc. We ate in the on site restaurant - 10 out of 10,fantastic. We will visit again when next in Calais.

Room Tip: We had a room above the restaurant and had no noise issues but this may change when busier in the Summer months
