We stay here every year at the end of our holiday in France, and have never been let down . Staff are friendly and welcoming; the rooms are clean , spacious and include everything you need. Breakfast has been improved, though we were already impressed with the variety that was served! As well as the croissants , baguette and other varieties of bread, cheeses, ham , eggs, jams, Nutella, cereals, hot and cold drinks, they now serve fresh fruit (the pineapple and melon were delicious and so refreshing !) and pancakes !! The restaurant across the road is always very busy - so make sure you reserve a table at the same time as you book your room. Huge variety of delicious meals with prices to suit every pocket ...and they don't charge a fortune for drinks.
Great value for money - great location for shopping at Cite Europe (15 minutes away) - and so convenient for both the Tunnel and the port.
We will have no hesitation about returning next year.

We've stayed at the hotel several times over the past few years- located in the small vilage of Escalles with an ajoining restaurant, we have always been well looked after. The rooms are clean and have everything you may need. The breakfasts are huge and served in a conservatory type of room. Great value for money.

We always stay at l'escale at the start of our holiday and on our return from the south of France. There are good cliff top walks nearby as well as a lovely sandy beach.the attached restaurant has a wide choice of dishes on the menu.

This hotel is very accessible to Le Tunnel and Ferry, being a few miles off the A16, and was chosen as an overnight base whilst en route through France. Its location in a small village on the coast road beneath the monument on Cap de Blanc feels very French and the charming flowers that adorn the hotel's buildings are welcoming. It's just the place for a hearty supper (at the adjacent L'Escale restaurant) followed by a stroll down to the beach or up to the monument after a day's driving. Though small, our room was very clean with quality bedding, a comfortable mattress and modern shower room. The staff we met were all professional - efficient, polite and friendly. Breakfast was delicious.

Given the chance, we would stay here for a few nights and explore the area further. Looks good for cliff walks and cycling the Opal Coast.

We used this as a stopover before travelling back to England and was just perfect for this. The room was a little on the small size but fine for what we wanted. We had time to unwind from the travelling and explored the town and had a good evening meal in the hotel's restaurant. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would stay again.
