“Excellent value - stunning scenery, restaurant exceptionally cheap”
Reviewed 24 May 2014 via mobile

We stayed here for 1 night as part of a tour if Kerala. Rooms arranged in little bungalows up the side of a mountain. Comfy rooms with stunning scenery wherever you looked. We were very impressed with the restaurant - quality of food excellent and exceptionally well priced. Wifi was a bit 'hit &miss' but given the location high up in the mountains, not altogether surprising. Care: to travellers unaccustomed to this area - it can be a bit cold this far up when the mists are down. The rest of our tour we were used to 30 degree Celsius heat but needed a fleece up here!

Took the regular room which was clean and spacious. Small towels and getting hot water may be tricky.

The breakfast was OK but the selection was quit poor.

The grounds are nice and provide a wonderful view of the area.

Tip: Take a half day tour up the tall mountain to the highest tea plantation in the world (located close to the hotel). Spectacular view although its quite a bumpy ride.

Perfect Place to stay in a location like Munnar.
Beautiful views from all rooms.
Hospitality of staff is good and food is tasty.
only thing is that it is at 15-20 kms from Munnar town but thats ok,,,,
it was a great experience to stay in Siena Village.

The Sienna Village, near Munnar is a good hotel. Rooms (Our was R. No. 203) are spacious. Our room had a terrace too. Good view from the Gallery & terrace. Only concern was that the dining hall was far with some very steep slopes.
Enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: Don't select rooms no. starting after 3-- or more, or you will have to walk & climb more!

I had been in the month of July with my husband . We had driven from Bangalore to Chinnakanal and the route from munnar to chinnakanal is heaven . The road was filled with fog with mild drizzle and the drive through the amazing road with beautiful tea plantations all around just made it a perfect weather to cherish :)
The resort is in a perfect location , nicely maintained , very clean and comfortable rooms. Our room had an attached jacuzzi which made it a perfect 5start resort . The view from the resort is just eye catching and the fog around the resort makes it completely romantic :) The food is good here and the management is very helpful.
The resort arranges a trip to the oldest tea factory in kolukumalai , the path they take u in is like a roller coaster ride , wow it was amazingly awesome. The route was completely covered with mist and the view points were just breath taking.
The swimming pool is good and clean enough . The spa they offer is also good for the first timers ;)
A perfect holiday for people who want a time off from their busy city life !!

Great place to stay.

1. Extremely comfortable place
2. Beautiful views overseeing the Ghats and Anayirankal Dam. All rooms have a view.
3. Great food - both buffet and a la carte.
4. Warm hospitality and service by all the staff.
5. Soft music and bonfire in the evening when there are no rain and its sufficiently full.

It's worth even to spend a day of the stay at The Siena Village itself enjoying the ambience and surrounding view.

A place that will feature once again for the accommodation, if visiting Munnar next time.

Room Tip: It's an hour from Munnar City towards Chinnakanal.
