We have now stayed at the Muses House four times and expect to repeat the pleasure . There is comfort, quiet, privacy all provided by civilised hosts. If we wish for information about the area and the countryside and the country our hosts are there to answer questions; if we wish to be solitary they will respect those wishes. Home from home (if one could achieve that atmosphere in one's home !)

Room Tip: Both floors are equally delightful.

This was our second visit to Muses House, and it is as lovely as ever.

We returned in May having visited at the same time last year, and brought with us several guests from the UK and Australia, all of whom had a wonderful time.

Maggie and Nick are great hosts; striking the perfect balance being accessible and helpful but also discreet.

The house is an oasis in a charming working village, and the perfect place to retreat too after a hectic day exploring Ephesus and surrounds.

A delicious breakfast is served around the pretty pool area or in the shade of the courtyard. Yummy scrambled eggs or frittata, with fruits, fresh breads and cereals. The local village restaurant (köy sofrası) is marvellous, serving delicious local cuisine and nice wine.

We love Muses House as a base for exploring this region which has so many treasures. No doubt we will return again.

We stayed here whilst visiting Ephasus in July . It was a delightful haven in a small village but with English speaking hosts Maggie and Nick. Maggie gave us a wonderful background in the history and site of Ephasus that greatly increased our awareness and enjoyment on our visit to The site as well as excellent advice on retaurants nearby in the village and near Ephasus. Returning to the hotel after a hot day of exploring ruins, the pool, courtyard and lounge were very refreshing and relaxing.
Breakfasts were excellent. A great place to stay and enjoy authentic Turkish rural life while enjoying excellent facilities and great meals. You will need a car but driving was easy and Maggie's directions made finding our way around very easy.

May/June is cherry time in Kirazli, one of the many delights to be enjoyed at this very special hotel, more a home, in the Meander valley and close to so many captivating sites, brought to life by Maggie's knowledge which stretches up from BC to the present day and both Nick and Maggie can recommend where to go for the splendid food of the region (or plenty to do 'at home' by the pool and in the library) Who could ask for more, there is no more! We spent four wonderful nights here and I only wish it could have been longer. Beautiful setting, gracious and helpful hosts, a library of fascinating books, a peaceful room overlooking a garden, fantastic breakfasts. A joy in every way!

Room Tip: Just take ear plugs. The muezzin is a wee bit enthusiastic.

We only had a 2 day stay near Ephesus and we stayed at Muses. It was perfect ...set in a village surrounded by cherry farms. Nick & Maggie are wonderful hosts. Its a lovely white and blue house with a pool, nice library and sitting area, an 'honesty bar'....Maggie is so knowledgeable that we didnt feel we needed a guide there ! They also recommended some really authentic Turkish restaurants to eat at. Their master bedroom is very luxurious, while the rest of the rooms are very comfortable. I would only go back there if ever had a chance again !

This is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at! It is a quaint home that has been restored and filled with love along with a baby grand piano. Nick & Maggie are gracious hosts and serve a fantastic breakfast. There is even a pool if you are there at the right time of year.
This home is in a very small village where you can roam and explore and be greeted with smiles. Definitely off the beaten track, but very worth it!
