Stayed for a week at the end of January 2014 with a gang of a dozen people.

Spacious, clean and value good value for money accommodation (nice heated boot rack).

Reasonably close to the slopes, short bus ride on the way and on the way back you can ski nearly to the door (the car park area towards the end of the week had been gritted).

The slopes are wide ranging, reasonably friendly and the snow conditions were good.

Viki (sp?) and Duncan were lovely and guided us towards all sorts of restaurants, e.g cat milk cheese fondue based, sledging return journey.

My best skiing break ever. Definitely and place to return to.

We picked this place to stay at just one night for our two day trip around and were quite satisfied. Two bathrooms, two bedrooms, table tennis room!, kitchen - you even think what a waste it is just to arrive in the evening and leave with first light, yet we slept like babies and even played some ping-pong beforehand. For short or long stay totally recommendable!

Had the best skiing holiday, the accommodation is amazing. Anything you are unsure about Duncan and Vicky will be there to help you with it! Their attitude is that you are on holiday so relax and enjoy it and anything you need they will do their absolute best to do. They are the ideal hosts and I would recommend staying at Haus Wasserbauer to anybody.

The accommodation is very clean, stylish and there's everything you need. Originally we booked as a group of 8, which was perfect for the 8 person apartment, however 2 more people decided that they wanted to come and conveniently the 4 person apartment was available. At first we thought that the 2 people would be excluded, but this was not the case, I was in the 4 person apartment and there is a lovely communal area in the 8 person apartment, with a dining table to seat everyone. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need and there are also restaurants, bars and pubs nearby for if you chose to go out, which Duncan and Vicky are very helpful with.

The location is perfect, there is a ski hire shop 10 meters away and a frequent bus taking you straight to the ski lift ( fee for this included in ski lift pass) is about a 2 minute walk. Additionally there is a spar located next to this bus stop which sells everything you will need for meals. This bus timetable is provided in the accommodation and Duncan and Vicky are able to help you with it if required.

Most importantly the skiing! Amazing skiing, our group ranged for complete beginners to advanced skiers and everyone was more than satisfied! The views from the top of the mountains are incredible! There are lots of restaurants on the mountains too and everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful. We missed the last lift to the top of our nearest mountain and got stuck in another valley and the people operating the ski lift kindly gave 5 of us and a another family of 4 a free lift back to our valley.

Overall this was an amazing holiday and none of wanted to leave, and we will definitely be going back again!!!

I have never experienced such great hospitality and Haus Wasserbauer is really in the perfect location for both winter and summer breaks. The owners have every need catered for and are so friendly. I went with a group of friends for a week skiing and the local restaurants and ski shops and bakery meant we had everything right where we needed it. Would definitely reccomend this as a holiday destination to anybody and thankyou for a great trip! I'm looking forward to making this a regular holiday destination.

Just returned from a fantastic week skiing holiday in Muhlbach. Duncan & Vicky (& Diesel) could not have been better hosts for the week - helping us with organising ski hire, printing bus times, recommending restaurants and of course, the best bars on the slopes! Nothing was too much trouble and they are constantly on hand to recommend places to visit. Such a friendly couple who go above and beyond to make your stay relaxed and stress-free.

The accommodation itself is beautiful with a really homely feel. As there were 10 of us we split across both the top floor apartment and the lower apartment. All rooms have en-suites, the COMFIEST duck feather duvets and are spacious enough to not feel cramped when jumping around attempting to squeeze into salopettes. There's a games room complete with ping pong table, books, board games and in the top floor apartment a Wii. Not to mention an extensive list of DVD's ready to borrow; no-one was bored!

The location itself is less than a 3minute walk to town where there is a free ski-bus to the slopes (another 3minute ride away!) The slopes are a mix of blues/reds/blacks but the beginners we travelled with were braving it down the harder runs by the end of the week; a good mix for everyone. The food and alcohol was also reasonable even at the top of the slopes, pizzas were around 5/6 euro and a beer 3.60!

We travelled direct to Salzburg where a short 45min taxi ride had us arriving straight at Haus Wasserbauer's door. All in all - perfect location, people and holiday! I cannot reccomend this place enough - we will DEFINITELY be coming back for a visit!
