5 times a 5 star rating - is that realistic? It is! Yes, we were positively surprised.
Small restaurant and no Japanese around. Very friendly (Korean originated) service lady and a Belgian chef. And they know how to do perform authentic Japanese food. They only offer 5 small dishes and 6 Sushi Rolls, that's it. We tasted and both shared the Tuna Tataki, the Sashimi platter and the Shrimp Tempura. All super fresh, made of excellent ingredients and prepared like in Japan. Wow!
The New Zealand Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect compagnion to Japanese food. Almost all at fair prices. Just water was by far too expensive (7,50 €/bottle). We'll be back!
