A solid three star with good facilities, parking, wifi that works easily in the rooms, big showers, air-conditioning., tv, fridge (no mini bar). Clean rooms, comfy beds, basic furnishings. The location is fantastic, only minutes from the centre of the action in Lamia, which is considerably more than you might expect! The breakfast is extra, five euros, and like everything else in this refurbished three star standby, it is solid but nothing more. The staff are helpful if somewhat unenthusiastic, and the decoration is depending on your point of view drab to tasteless to ok. It is a sensible, no nonsense option if you are travelling on the road and want to pull in for the night and have a look at a Greek town where the tourist is almost an extinct species, and real Greek life continues in interesting ways; the man who served me dinner was an out work actor reading Flaubert’s ‘L’education sentimental’!

We stopped at his hotel on our way to Northern Greece for two nights at the end of June. We had prebooked one night but arrived early and was lucky enough to be able to stay for a second night. The receptionist appeared to be standoffish, but we thought it was more of a language barrier and he was all smiles when we saw him later and even recommended a place where we could get a variety of local beers. The rooms were very large, light and airy with plenty of space and nice bathroom. Could nottfault it. Breakfast was very plentiful, but I think the hotel lacked atmosphere in some respects, but however, perfectlly adequate at 65 euros per night including breakfast. The town itself is a student city so very busy with youngsters, but no trouble. If you are going to the big square, take a tip and find one or the two smaller sqaures to drink it. The price is half and less than half in some cases. You are paying for the location in the large square. Food wise there are plenty of restaurants nearby to eat. We parked easily because a motorbike which we travelled to Greece on from the UK parks on a sixpence, so no problem there and they gave us free parking. Perfectly adequate, but as I said previously lacks atmosphere and probably more for the businessman rather than the tourist traveller, although we were not in a tourist resort

The hotel is ideally situated near the centre. The concierge desk is always helpful and very friendly. The rooms are very spacious with a clean bathroom , a very nice LCD TV , and beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and beautifully presented. An excellent hotel in a quiet area. You feel like home.

Nice small hotel in the center of the city, not far from the pleasant main squares where you can eat in the psystaria, estatoria, taverna or ouzeris. Contrarily to what is said before, I found the staff quite helpful. Parking somewhat limited behind the building (4 or 5 spaces) and parking near in the streets is out of the question except if you're very lucky.
