This coffee shop had opened just a few weeks earlier and is situated in the converted village hall with lottery funding. Everything is new and very tastefully done. Largish car park to the rear with a lift enabling wheelchair access to the tea room and a terrace to the rear of the building which is both sheltered and provides a super view across the fell. Some of the full length windows can be opened to effectively open up the tea room to the outside on a warm summers day - real thought has gone in to the design. The cakes were very tasty and the menu looked quite extensive. We will be going back on our next trip to the North Lakes.
