We had lunch here early January with 2 kids (6 & 4) and friends. It was a busy time and they had a huge table there which seemed unfortunately right in front of us timing-wise which meant over an hour's wait for our food. This was frustrating as we had made a booking which they shouldn't have accepted if unable to deliver. However the time was easily filled sitting outside in the sun with the kids at the playground. Meals were lovely once they arrived and service was friendly despite delay. Tip - order the kids lunch boxes if with kids, they have lots of different bits andpieces so fill in time well while adults are eating and talking.

We were very fortunate to meet Tim, the owner. Now he is a total character - if you meet him, have a chat. He is passionate about his wines and very proud of them - as well he should be. We did not taste a single wine that was even average. All were excellent - we especially enjoyed the Black Reef Blush. All the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. And the bonus for the vineyard is their restaurant. Definitely worth a try - especially their Friday night with music and mouth-watering pizza.

Charming, wonderful food, delicious award winning wines, and best of all...incredible owner and staff. My partner and I have visited many vineyards in the North Island and we just think Clearview was the tops. Tim made us feel so welcome and special and the restaurant is just delightful. We had their tasting platter and it was incredible--so fresh, perfectly paired with the wine and some of the best olives I've ever tasted. You would do yourself a disservice not visiting this wonderful spot.

We went to Clearview for lunch after going up to see the gannet colony on Cape Kidnappers. They were busy, but it was a nice day to sit out under the pergola and drink Clearview wine before being served with a tasty Italian bean soup followed by pork fillet and paella, both of which were very good indeed. Well sized portions and friendly service

Lovely place to relax over top class food. Rain or shine Clearview is my number one destination for wine tasting followed by lunch.
Old olive block is my favorite red wine and there are always lots of things on the menu to complement it.
