We (four OAPs from England) took a long weekend staying in the Goldener Hirsch in Mosbach (Baden) near Heidelberg in Germany. We took the TGV train from Dusseldorf airport to get there. The hotel is in the pedestrianised High Street of Mosbach, within 200 metres of the train station....great for our travels over the weekend. Herr & Frau Walther who own the hotel made us really welcome, and our (ensuite) rooms and the breakfasts provided were really excellent. We recommend this hotel unreservedly, for cleanliness, good service and value. There is lots to see and do in the area, and train travel to get to other towns & cities is both easy & cheap.
