then the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame is a good way to spend a couple of hours. It certainly doesn't compare to it's US counterpoint in Cooperstown, or to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, but for the true baseball aficionado this is well worth a visit.

I have never visited the Baseball hall of Fame but people interested should know that this is not in Stratford but in St Marys which is about 20 km SW.

Not at all what I expected.
As a baseball fan it was somewhat interesting, but not really worth the time or effort. I had more fun watching a youth game at the park located near the museum.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum. One of the highlights was to actually be allowed to put my foot on the same home plate that Joe Carter touched when he hit the home run to win the World Series in 1993. There are so many artifacts packed into such a small space, but they are laid out well and there is lots of information. You can also ask if you want more background about something. They have beautiful grounds with picnic tables and a baseball diamond. They even have baseball gloves and balls and bats if you are inspired to play catch or hit a few out of the park. If you are a baseball fan, you will really enjoy a visit here.
