The town of Meaford was a wonderful discovery and we will return, making it a focal point for a subsequent exploration of Lake Huron / Georgian Bay shoreline communities. An amazing waterfront ! Just a short walk from downtown and the waterfront, the Millhollow B & B is a wonderful Victorian property. Hosts, Paula & Milan, were most welcoming, friendly and attended to our every need, also advising us re: things to do & places to go. The Harmony Room was spacious and featured a queen bed, sitting area (but no TV), and a private ensuite bathroom. Milan prepared a wonderful breakfast chosen from a menu with 3 multi-course options.

Room Tip: The Harmony Room is spacious, has a private en suite bathroom, & overlooks a small river.

You are absolutely right about Georgian Bay and Huron shores. What is best about it Meaford is in middle of it all. Glad that you find our advice helpful and had a good time.
Paula and I were discussing option of TV in rooms but it would not compliment rooms decor.
So we locateTV and DVD in guests living room.
We will revisit this issue.
Thank you kindly.

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast with attention to every single detail. Milan and Paula are amazing hosts. And the breakfast is impeccable - fruit, yogurt, baked goods, eggs cooked any way you like or pancakes/french toast, toast, all sorts of jams - best breakfast I've had in a long time! Thank you so much for an amazing stay! We will most definitely be back!

Milan and Paula, you are the best! I promised you that I would write a review of Millhollow after my wife treated me to a splendid late fall weekend with you in 2013. You see, since I was a kid, my birthday always let me down. November 28th isn't actually beach season in Ontario! However, after researching extensively, we found Millhollow and knew that this was our place! Late November is actually beautiful in the Meaford area. The snow wasn't too deep and the surrounding towns were just getting into holiday mode. I'm not going to repeat everything that has been written about how wonderful you two are as hosts. My best advice is that they go and experience your exceptional hospitality for themselves!

You are absolutely right. November is not a beach season but Southern Georgian Bay is beautiful.
Glad you enjoyed your stay with us. It was our pleasure to accommodate you and make your
birthdate memorable.
Kind regards,

My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here. It was our first time staying at a B&B so we didn't really know what to expect. Our trip from start to finish was perfect. The B&B is beautifully decorated, clean, and welcoming. Paula was the perfect hostess;I felt as if I was visiting a friend. She made us feel welcome and had great recommendations on what to do in the area. Our bed was very comfortable, and our room overlooked the river. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! The table was set beautifully, and we enjoyed everything she made for us. We plan on returning as soon as we can. The B&B is walking distance to town, so we were able to have a couple of cocktails at dinner and walk back.

We loved our stay with Milan and Paula at Millhollow Bed and Breakfast. They are lovely people who are competent and diligent in their operation, doing the small things that make the difference between average and excellent.

Breakfast was wonderful, from Paula's home-baked gluten-free muffins to the delicious fruit salad. Our room had a wonderful view over the Bighead river. Overall 10/10.

This is the best B&B I've encountered. The restored old home is beautiful. The room was better than comfortable, well appointed, and a joy to stay in. Breakfast was very tasty with great home cooking/baking/preserves. Paula made us feel at home and provided all the information we needed. Parked our bikes in a locked garage.

Room Tip: Just ask Paula

We just spent a night at Millhollow B&B. We highly recommend this establishment. It is very clean, bed and pillows very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and was very well presented. Garden was lovely and private. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Harmony room is en suite and looks out over the river.
