“Peace and tranquility”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2014

We stayed overnight at Tean House with Robin and Jenny during Ludlow festival.
Ludlow itself is only 10 minutes drive away and our B and B provided a convenient location to enjoy the delights of one of the most beautiful towns in England.
Our room was clean comfortable and pleasant and our hosts went out of their way to assist us during our stay. Jenny even offered to drop my husband back in Ludlow the next morning to collect our car.
Our breakfast was delicious and our room a haven of tranquility with pretty views overlooking farmland.
Tean house was good value and I hope to return next year for the festival.

We arrived much earlier than we'd said we would, but were still made very welcome by Jenny. The room was very comfortable, and both the room and ensuite were clean and had everything we needed. We overlooked farmland and the Clee hills. As the house is in a small village it's quiet at night, and there is no intrusive street lighting. A splendid cooked breakfast with plenty of choice (smoked haddock, and local bacon and eggs among other things) as well as fruit, fruit juice, cereals, toast and preserves, tea and coffee. Jenny and Robin are friendly and ready to chat and we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. As we were visiting relations we didn't ask for advice about local attractions/services, but it's clear that good advice is on hand if you need it. At £65 for a couple it's great value. Would happily stay again, and recommend this b and b to other travellers.

Room Tip: We had the ensuite double overlooking open countryside

We both enjoyed our stay in the excellent accommodation; ( which is an apt description in our estimation). The location was idyllic in the quiet country setting and a perfect base to travel from to the places we visited in the picturesque county of Shropshire. The hosts Robin and Jenny were very hospitable and there was a wide array of breakfast foods to choose from. I have to say it is well worth a stay at their B&B.

Jenny and Robin were our hosts at Teen House B&B outside this most lovely of old English towns. We immediately hit it off with Jenny whose unbounded sense of humor was completely engaging. Our double room with private bath was spacious, clean and comfortable, and pleasantly decorated. Robin couldn’t do enough for us, despite his upcoming hospital visit. (We hope all is well.) The cost was BPS 65, so this B&B offered great value and is highly recommended.

Rooms are very well appointed. Robin & Jenny provide an excellent B&B experience. They are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
The rooms are very quiet with comfortable beds with clean towels plus Tea/Coffee facilities. The location is only 2 minutes by car from Ludlow with lovely views of the open countryside including Clee Hill from our bedroom.Only one bedroom has ensuite facilities but our room on the top floor had its own lounge.
The breakfast is first rate with a wide choice of cooked food plus cereals.
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: If you don't want an ensuite ask for the top room with its own lounge.

I stayed for two nights while I was on a geology course. The location was perfect for me, being between the two locations I was visiting on the course. The B&B is well-decorated and furnished, and the room was light and spacious. I had views over the lovely garden and surrounding fields. The room I had was not en suite, but the bathroom was over the corridor, and I seemed to be the only one using it. A fluffy robe was provided. The hosts were very pleasant, and the breakfast was excellent.

Room Tip: If you want an en suite, enquire with the owners, as I think they have one or more of these.
