Carlos III Fountain

The Carlos III Fountain is located at the Plaza de España. The fountain was built during the reign of King Carlos III and finished in 1785. The aim of its construction was to bring water to the center of the town. The fountain has a Neoclassic style with three parts. There are four faucets with four basins. The parts of the middle and bottom of the fountain are made of stone. The fountain still works and brings fresh water to the town from the surrounding mountains.
