Palacio Maissonave

Calle Labradores, 9-11.

The Palacio Maissonave was constructed in the 18th century and is one of the most beautiful historic palaces in the city. Today it is the home of the Archivo Municipal, which keeps important documents starting from the 12th century, such as a document signed by King Fernando el Catolico in 1490 allowing Alicante to become a city. The building also has archaeological remains of a cemetery used by the Romans. The building has three floors.
