The capital of Nevis is a small, attractive, historic town called Charlestown, which is on the southern part of the Caribbean coast of Nevis.

Charlestown is full of little side alleys, many with traditional chattel houses (wooden cottages) and small shops.

A brief introductory paragraph about Charlestown can be found in the "Things to Do" part of the TripAdvisor listings for St. Kitts and Nevis at: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Travel-g14...
