Steel Bands can be heard every Sunday evening, in the preparation for the well known Sunday School at Buccoo, Sunday School is the later Sound Systems playing Reggae, and Soca music, and attracts many locals as well as tourists.
One of the bars hosts the Buccooners Band, they are an accomplished Band, they play a wide variety of tunes, favourites being Breezin and No Woman No Cry, they also do the Hallelujah Chorus!
The bar is attended by many locals, watch out for some of the really sharp dressed old boys, with their bright coloured trilbies, they will be amongst the first to dance and are held with great regard and this is a good way way to listen to such soulful music, no charge is made to attend, just the cost of your drinks, there will also be some good food nearby from roadside temporary restaurants.
