St. Croix is full of opportunities to get involved and there is by no means a lack of things to do.

The ocean is a playground for activity whether it be jetskiing, swimming, diving and snorkeling, or boating and fishing.  Nearly the entire west side of the island is a beach, protected from waves and big winds, making the waters calm and ideal for splashing about, paddle boarding, kayaking bar to bar, jet skiing, and of course seeing/snorkeling/scuba-diving The Pier (famous for its seahorses and many colors).

For land activities there is Golf, walking, horse back riding, biking and 4 wheeling available as  outlets for adventure on St. Croix.

If you're looking for excitment inland while on vacation, Gecko's Island Adventures has ATV tours that run through the rain-forest and along the top of the mountains. if an ATV is not your style, you can go for an open air jeep tour with Tan Tan Tours. they have half and full day tours available. there is also Paul and Jill's Horseback riding for those who would like a quieter tour. this tour visits a few plantation ruins and the beach.

The bright blue waters of St. Croix attract new and veteran scuba divers and snorkelers by the numbers each year. There are many shops that offer equipment, lessons, and excursions to help you get underway with your diving adventure.  Scuba Diving has two prominent, must-see features on St. Croix -- The Frederiksted Pier (1 of the 7 Jewels of the Caribbean) and The Salt River Canyon/The Wall.  There are also many wrecks, reefs, and night dives to try.

These are just a few of the many options. Be sure to check with your hotel to see what is closest to you or to see if your hotel offers rentals or expeditions.

If you are interested in other water sports such as Jet skiing, kayaking, parasailing, or kiteboarding, try Caribbean Adventure Tours, or Kite St. Croix or St. Croix Water Sports Center, located at Hotel on the Cay. Golfing is a major pull to St. Croix; it offers great courses and of course, beautiful scenery. The Carambola Golf and Country Club and the Buccaneer Hotel's course are two of the favorites. East-enders can enjoy a round at the 9-hole Reef Golf Course.
