La Paloma offers an international menu, including walnut and chipotle soup, banana soup, chilis en nogadas, steaks, chicken, salmon and cuitlacoche (the "western truffle" – the fungus that grows on corn) and more, even the hamburger for your non-adventurous and/or homesick visitor/child.

The atmosphere is lovely with banana trees and bamboo thoughout the bottom floor. There is good live music in the evenings around 8:30 that is appropriate for eating. You can feel safe eating anything, including the delicious salads.
