Before the 1988 Winter Olympics, this hill was where Calgarians came to ski. Now Canada Olympic Park (COP) is active year-round.  Mountain biking, luge rides, bungee trampolining, outdoor wall climbing, and mini golf are featured in the summer.  In the winter, you can go cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding.  If that's not exciting enough, you can go off the 90-meter ski jump tower on a zipline; in the winter, visitors can also go down the 1500 meter bobsleigh track at speeds of up to 120 km/h, or get a taste of riding a luge sled. You can also ride in a bobsleigh during the summer; check the COP website for dates & details.

Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, a large interactive museum dedicated to the greatest moments in Canadian sport, is also located at COP.
