The people of Kamloops are friendly and they are usually interested in assisting tourists with finding their way around the city.  Because of this, it is easy to get travel information within the area.  One of the best resources for getting such information within the city is to make a stop at the local tourist information centre, located at 1290 West Trans Canada Highway.  The customer service representatives at this office are especially friendly and generally helpful.  Travelers can come here to get their questions answered as well as simply to get suggestions about what to see and do during a Kamloops stay. During the summer tourist months (from early May through early September), the tourist information office is open every day of the week from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.  Hours are shorter but still convenient during the rest of the year.

Travelers can obtain additional information about the Kamloops tourist information center at their official website.   Travelers can also contact the office by phone at (250) 374-3377 .
