1)  Kingston is the starting point of the Rideau trail, which winds its way to Ottawa.  You can pick it up just north of the city to enjoy beautiful natural walks through Frontenac Park, some of the locks of the RIdeau system and beyond.

2) The waterfront is historical and winds around the downtown hotels, beside City Hall, through historic neighbourhoods, Queen's, RMC, the Olympic sailing basin, and even the notorious Kingston Penitentiary.

3) Stroll the vibrant downtown area and enjoy the shops, restaurants and  the market square.  In the winter it's an artificial rink,  in the summer, it's the home of the farmer's market and music.

4) Take a guided haunted walk through some of Kingston's spookiest neighbourhoods.  Amazing in the fall especially.  Check out the Prince George hotel on Ontario street for more info.
