The Fletcher Wildlife Garden is located adjacent to the Arboretum and is accessed from Prince of Wales Drive. It is managed by the Ottawa Field Naturalists Club and has a stated purpose of 'Demonstrating how to create wildlife-friendly habitat and gardens on urban or rural property, emphasizing the use of plants native to the Ottawa region.'
The garden features several wildlife and garden habitats including an Amphibian Pond, Butterfly Meadow, Ash Woodlot, New Woodlot, The Hedgerow, Old Field, Interpretive Center and a Backyard Garden. Recent enhancements include the addition of an official Monarch Waystation in the Butterfly Meadow area.
