There are two Halls to visit at Burton Agnes: Burton Agnes Old Hall and Burton Agnes Hall. The Old Hall is an English Heritage site and is also known as The Burton Agnes manor house, and dates from Norman times. It is adjacent to the main hall.
The main Burton Agnes Hall is an Elizabethan home of great splendour in landscaped grounds with a restored walled garden.
A particular feature of he walled garden are human sized games in the paving, such as chess, snakes and ladders which children will enjoy.
The gardens also contain the national collection of Campanulas.
The interior of the house features fine art and furniture, and in the particular, the long gallery features some modern commissioned pieces.
