When coming to Galway many people stop off at the Kings Head. Pub. It is right in the middle of Galway for starters, it has music 7 nights a week (FREE) and is  a landmark in many different ways in Galway!Be warned during the Summmer it can get really packed so get in early or avoid.

The building itself is 800 years old and has lots of history attached to it. In fact the name is directly linked to the execution of the King of England Charles 1. These days it's offering is far less gorey but the nights out are still legendary! Check out the website at www.thekingshead.ie. The pub has 3 bars over 3 floors and has a mixture of live music and Djs througout the week. Live sport is another big reason to visit the Kings Head, if there is a game you want to see including La liga and Serie A games   It also has a fantastic food and the menu features dishes based on the best in local, fresh produce.                                                           Kings Head Fireplace (dated 1612)
