Colmar boasts an extensive and efficient bus network called TRACE (Transport de Colmar and Environs) servicing the town and its surroundings. Fifteen routes will take you all over the town to the main sites such as Parc des expositions, St. Joseph Park, Unterlinden Theatre, and Haut Koenigsbourg. For a complete list of routes, stops and schedules, check out TRACE website at http://www.trace-colmar.fr/liste_lign... . (all the information is in French)

Passengers pay 1.05 Euros per single ticket, but a better deal is to buy a 10 tickets pass for 7.50 Euros (kids between 6 and 10 years old and war veterans pay a reduced fare of 6.10 Euros). There also daily passes for 3 Euros and Weekly passes for 7,90 Euros that allows multiple rides.

The single tickets and the ten ticket-passes can be bought on the bus from the driver. All other passes including the reduced fares can be purchased at different newspaper stands in Colmar that are near the different bus stops.
