The Botanical Gardens (Jardin Botanique du Montet), lay on the outskirts of the Nancy. Created in 1975, the gardens cover 27 hectares and encompass over12,000 plants.  The 2,500 m2 of tropical greenhouses boast giant water-lilies, orchids, banana, coffee and citrus trees, cacti, etc.

Useful information: 

MUSEUM HOURS: Park (free access): Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 (noon) and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Saturdays: 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sundays and public holidays: 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. from 1 April to 30 Sept.)

Greenhouses (entrance fee: about 2 to 4 Euro): daily (except the first Tuesday of every month). Greenhouses close 15 minutes earlier than the park gates.
