Flights available from major UK airports to Paris Charles de Gaulle. Transfer to Paris Orly by frequent shuttle bus for Air France flight to Lourdes/Tarbes, or by train from TGV station in CDG T2 via Bordeaux to Lourdes, journey takes about 7 to 8 hrs depending on time of the day and # of change. Getting to and from Lourdes Airport

 If traveling independently, public transport is available from outsided the arrivals hall. It is not very regular so you should consult the timetable . http://www.tlp.aeroport.fr/en/travell The fare to Lourdes is €2. Taxis should be booked in advance. Fare is approximately €25 - €30 during the day and €30 - €35 at night and weekends (depending on amount of luggage).See below for contact details.

By train

London St. Pancras to Paris Nord. Transfer to Paris Monpernasse for train to Lourdes. Total journey time approximately 10 hours. A cheaper overnight service is available from Paris to Lourdes, taking approximately 9hr.30 min

Taxis and Buses

Taxis and buses are available from outside Lourdes train station. Average taxi fare to hotels is approximately 10€. Bus services (City Bus) operate every 15 minutes between Easter and October to Saint Joseph's entrance to the Sanctuary. (last stop)

By Car

If you are driving be aware that there is a village named LOURDE 57km (34m) from Lourdes. If you are using a GPS be sure to enter the 's' when setting up your system. It is advisable to book a hotel with a car park, since free street parking is practically non existent.
