The best way to get there by car from Nice airport is straight along the coast. All rental cars are picked up from the car rental center located opposite Terminal 2 and there is a one-way traffic system out to the airport exit.

Rather than follow the signs to the motorway for Antibes and Cannes, follow signs to terminal 1, bear right, up the ramp to the old airport exit and turn left onto the D94 road. Then just keep the sea to your left and engage autopilot!

A straight road, passing through interesting seaside towns like Cagnes sur Mer. You will pass the entrance to the Baie des Anges complex and marina on the left, passing alongside the huge public beach until you come into Antibes, passing by the Fort Carre. In Antibes, bear right up the ramp, passing the railway station at the top (on your right); follow signs to Juan les Pins. It is simpler, often quicker and cheaper (no tolls) but, for the first timer, it is far less confusing than trying to follow the route via the motorway which seems to have you going back on yourself several times.

If you have the time for a more leisurely journey, in Antibes follow signs to Cap d'Antibes; pass the Hotel du Cap (Eden Roc) and continue down the hill with the sea to your left. This very twisty and bendy road will hug the pictureque shoreline, passing sumptuous villas and private developments, delivering you ultimately in downtown Juan les Pins.

Returning to the airport head for Antibes and follow signs " Nice par bord de la mer" and you will find yourself on the D94.
