Boros is a well-kept local secret ; a small family owned restaurant featuring excellent, lovingly prepared, Greek/Lebanese/Middle Eastern cuisine.  The staff is very welcoming and happily answers all questions about the various foods on the menu.  English and French are spoken here, and perhaps a few more languages too.

Sample their "plat du jour" or one of their combination platters wth rolled grape leaves, meats, etc. The food wonderful and so reasonably priced compared to lunch prices and food quality at some of the tourist traps in the zone pietonne/pedestrian zone. It's great for a break from all that very rich French cuisine.

Also open for dinner.

There is a market next door which also sells various specialty foods/groceries from the region too.  The restaurant is located at 4, Rue Dalpozzo (runs perpendicular to the Promenade des Anglais), between Rue de France and Rue de La Buffa which both run parallel to the Promenade des Anglais.
