The nightlife in Perugia can include dancing, clubbing, hanging out in a bar, snuggling by a glass of wine, or all of these. It can be what you make of it.

Most restaurants and cafes are open at least until midnight, while most bars and pubs are open even longer.

If you want to get your groove on, consider the club Velvet, where you’ll want to ditch your jeans and suit up in some fine Italian leather. This is a city-worthy, cosmopolitan crowd who enjoys seeing and being seen, so if you like that scene, this is your club. This is a smallish club, but it has two floors, so you can either join the crowd on the first floor dancing and enjoying yourself, or head upstairs to watch and perhaps be watched. Velvet is located at Viale Roma; there is no cover charge, but instead one required drink purchase.

Head to Bar Ferrari; it's where where chocolate lovers hang out and it’s one of the locations for the famous Euro Chocolate Festival. It’s open 7 a.m. to midnight and is located at Corso Vannucci 43.

If you’re American or wanting American culture, head to Crazy Bull, which features Tex Mex cuisine and nightly live music. It’s open 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
