There are several areas in Gozo which offer the visitors breathtaking views over the unspoiled Gozitan countryside, its rural villages and the pristine Mediterranean Sea. Below are some of the most popular.
Ta' Gordon Lighthouse: Located in the tiny village of Ghasri, this lighthouse is situated on the highest point of the island. This means excellent vast views of all the island can be admired from the top of the hill.

Wied il-Għasri: This is a natural unspoilt area on the northwest coast of the island. The area is ideal for relaxing walks while admiring the beautiful high rugged cliffs of Gozo. Wied il-Ghasri is a natural valley with a very small beach.
Views from the Citadel: The views that can be seen from the walls of the old fortified city over the Gozitan countryside and city of Victoria are not to be missed.
Qala Belle view: The coastline around the village of Qala offers stunning views over Gozo’s Mgarr harbour, Comino and the north of Malta.
Xlendi Tower/il-Kantra: Il-Kantra is a small valley on the left of Xlendi bay beside Xlendi Tower. The tower offers stunning views over the high cliffs and coastline of Xlendi Bay.Xlendi Tower
Calypso Cave: Calypso cave is believed to be the place where Odysseus was held a prisoner of love for seven years by the nymph Calypso in the story of Homer's Odyssey. The cave is quite small and admission is free of charge. What makes this cave spectacular is not its size but the stellar views over the stunning Ramla Bay and its orange-reddish sands.
Ta’ Kenuna: Spectacular views can be admired from the Ta’Kenuna Tower in Nadur. Views extend to Comino and Malta.
Wied il-Lunzjata: This peaceful valley is enchanting and attracts various painters who go here for inspiration.
Dwejra: The dramatic coastline in this unspoilt area on the west coast of Gozo is a feast for the eyes for the true nature lover. One could spend hours wandering around the area while admiring the stunning natural arch of the Azure Window and the Inland sea.

Ta’ Cenc Cliffs: These high spectacular cliffs are home to various plants and flowers and make for a peaceful and relaxing walking area. The cliffs are about 470 ft above sea level and offer wonderful vistas over the island of Comino and the main island Malta.
