Situated on a sun-soaked high plateau, Crans-Montana offers its guests comfort and an impressive view of the majestic peaks from the Matterhorn right round to the Mont Blanc.

Crans-Montana is charming, sporty, entertaining,  and trendy. Tasteful ambience amidst the most plentiful Alpine shopping in the world is what characterises the town's chic.

In the Summer, 280 km of hiking routes extend between five mountain lakes and fragrant forests.  Crans-Montana has brought the Alpine irrigation system that dates from the 12th century and the paths along its canals back to life again, making for some amazing walks. The «Bisse du Rho» with its overhanging passages is a special jewel. But Crans-Montana also means: mountain biking, horse riding, bridge clubs, enjoying music festivals, visiting art exhibitions, archery, hot air balloon flights, and lakeside volleyball. It is home to a Culture and Congress Centre of international repute, which regularly hosts meetings of world-famous political leaders.

But, summer in Crans for many is all about golf.  It is the site of the European Masters golf championship, and boasts 2 amazing courses - Severiano Ballesteros (18-hole) and Jack Nicklaus (9-hole) - featureing a magical backdrop: a panoramic view from the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc.

Skiiers and snowboarders flock to Crans in the winter.   On the 160 km of slopes, which incorporate 38 of the most modern cable railways, skiers, snowboarders and carvers will find a real sporting challenge.

40 km of cross-country ski trails and 60 km of groomed winter hiking paths offer a natural adventure in a snowy landscape. The friendly welcome and the complete range of cultural and sporting events will make any stay an experience.
