Because of the tourist industry, there are lots of good places to eat in this small town.  Bradford boasts an excellent Thai restaturant (The Thai Barn), as well as Chinese (Feng Shui), Italian (Rialto and Amici) and Indian (Maharaja Tandoori). The Fat Fowl (serving rustic English food) has gained a good reputation over the last few months.  Nearly all pubs and bars serve food which varies from mediocre to good - The Beehive, Dandylion, Georgian Lodge and the Bunch of Grapes are amongst the best.  Its probably worth traveling a bit further for the best food. The Linnet at Great Hinton, The Pear Tree at Whitley, and the George and Dragon at Rowde are favourites. From 2007 the Swan in the centre of town has been serving excellent English food in this refurbished inn
