Bayswater are a very popular hirer and are a short taxi ride from the domestic airport.

Taxis are also available at the airport, outside the three main terminals. From the airport it is not uncommon for you to be asked to pay the full fare in advance. There is no fee or charge for luggage, but there is a ground transport fee of AU$2.00 for trips from the airport. This fee is not charged from the Skippers Aviation or National Jet Systems terminal locations however. Fares from the airport’s terminals to Perth range from about AU$40.00 to $60.00, and about AU$60.00 to Fremantle and AU$75.00 to Joondalup.

In the city centre and throughout Northbridge look for designated taxi ranks, and these are the best places to find a cab. But taxis can also be called by phone or even hailed on the street.

Tip- Small Charter Vehicles (similar to Private Taxis) are available on a Pre Booked arrangement. While short trips are more costly than Taxis, longer can work out much cheaper. These vehicles can be pre booked to meet you at the Airport, or at the end of a night out and is are ideal alternative to waiting in Taxi queues. Sourcing these vehicles is as easy as searching under the term "Limousine" on both Internet and telephone directories.
