West Orange Trail - Apopka Station

The West Orange Trail is a 22-mile long, 14-mile wide, multi-use trail for bicyclists, equestrain use, walkers, roller-bladers, skateboardiers, etc.

It starts on the Lake County/Orange county line at Killarney Station and goes through Oakland, Winter Garden, Ocoee

and Apopka, passing the Apopka Station before ending on Welch Road in Apopka.  The stations and areas along

the way offer the following ammenities:

Air Station, Basketball, Benches, bike racks, a butterfly garden, concession, Equestrian Facilities,

Leashed Pets Allowed, Parking, Playgrounds, Picnic Areas with grills, Por-O-Let, rental pavilions, 

restrooms, shelter, soda machines, tennis, wooden bridges, etc, (taken from the West Orange Trail Map).

The trail connects with those in Lake and Seminole counties as well. 

 Great trail with loads of shade, not too many stops for road crossings and relatively flat.
