The Panorama Route

The Panorama Route offers stunning views into the Blyde River Canyon, which is 26 kilometers long and 762 meters deep, making it the 3rd largest canyon in the world as well as the largest 'living' or 'green' canyon in the world.  In addition to the viewpoints of Blyde River Canyon there are other very good attractions along the Panorama Route.  Below are a few suggestions based on 1/2 day, 3/4 day and full day trips.

There are an infinite number of ways to drive the Panorama Route (and Waterfall Route) during your stay in this part of South Africa. The above suggestions are just driving suggestions only and don't factor in time for activities that are also available around Blyde River Canyon. Spending additional time, taking in the Panorama Route, more leisurely, over 2+ days is also an option.
