Kept in the repository of Tata Central Archives are thousands of documents, letters, agreements, maps, press clippings, audio/video recordings, awards, trophies, medals, citations, paintings, and memorabilia tracing the history of the House of Tata.

Tata Central Archives also houses documents that throw light on the Tatas’ association with illustrious figures of modern India, like Dadabhai Naoroji, Mahatma Gandhi, Motilal Nehru, Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose and Rajendra Prasad.

The records of J. R. D. Tata which include his voluminous correspondence, speeches, articles, interviews form one of the important collections in the Archives.  An exhibition area is open to  the General Public from Monday  through Friday 1000- 1700hrs. ( Except Public Holidays). For large groups, kindly intimate in advance.
