Experience the hustle and bustle of the wet market, then cook local food from scratch, guided by a funny, knowledgeable local cook. Nazlina is also a certified and a licensed city tour guide and she can tailor personal tours based on your interests.

The cooking classes are held at:

Nazlina Spice Station at No. 2, Campbell Street (Lebuh Campbell) in George Town (opposite of Campbell Street Market) from Monday to Saturday, 7.30AM to 12.30-1PM. Advanced classes are possible, from 3-8PM.

The classes cost RM 160 and bookings go through the owner of the class: Nazlina Hussin at  www.pickles-and-spices.com

Classes are held in the morning for some simple reasons:

1. Every class includes a visit to the local market where you buy your ingredients (which is included in the price of the class)

2. Learn what makes the markets in Penang special.

3. Early morning gives you the opportunity to see things at the market that already disappear by 9.30 AM.

Classes start at 7.30AM and finish around 12 with you enjoying your selfmade dishes (usually 2 or 3 depending on how difficult the dishes are but in general the dishes are easy made and tasty. See Nazlina's www.pickles-and-spices.com website. Text her at the number +6012-4538167 to book your spots.
