Arlington is known as "Fun Central" because of its great location by Forth Worth and Dallas, and of course because it is the home to one of the country's best adventure parks, Six Flags. Families have been traveling here since the park's opening in 1961 and the city has built up with tourists and families in mind. Transportation from most hotels to all attractions in the entertainment district, including Six Flags are also provided on family-friendly trolleys making everything easier on parents!

Six Flags caters to all ages and is the top tourist place to visit in Arlington. The park has thrill rides for adults and children adventure parks and kiddie rides therefore; the whole family should enjoy Six Flags.

Aside from the theme park the family may want to watch America's favorite pastime, a game of baseball. Arlington is home to the Major League Rangers baseball team.

Another thing families love are aquatic centers and Arlington has a great one. The Bad Konigshofen Outdoor Family Aquatic Center has pools for all ages including slides and more; it's a great way to beat the Texan heat!

Mini-golf is always a fun family option, check out Putt Putt Golf & Games on Division Street.
