Taman Awam Miri (Miri Public Park) is situated on a hill, about 3km from the city center along the Miri-Bintulu Road. Anyone can get a good aerial view of the surrounding area from the higher part of the Park. There are flower and flora gardens, a souvenir center, a canteen, observatory platforms, stone carving and sculptures, man-made waterfalls, suspension bridges, jogging tracks and other sporting facilities. There is also a children's water playground nearby. People come here in the morning or evenings to exercise, relax with the family or just hanging around.
