Bombay is divided into neighbourhoods. Each geographical reference has names of places of interest.

When you land in Bombay via flight, you will be in the suburbs of Bombay (Andheri) most places of interest lie between the airport and the Arabian Sea going North to South ending in Marine Drive. You would never need to go north of the airport.

South Mumbai - the old city centre with historic British architecture buildings with the Southern end ending into the Arabian Sea. The southern most tip is Nariman Point the business district of Mumbai

Central Mumbai - the geographical centre of Mumbai. upmarket residential area with plush restaurants, drinking and eating places.

North Mumbai - the residential suburbs with predominantly highrise residential buildings and large shopping malls. The Queen of suburbs - Bandra is the high point for drinking and eating. Almost everyday there is a new eatery opening up here.
