Try the Eureka Springs dinner train. NO, it doesn't take you several miles out on an excursion through woodlands and over bridges to see mountain ranges (however, sometimes on these trips you must also endure a few miles of the less attractive parts of town). The Eureka dining car has been beautifully reconditioned to remind you of the by-gone days of upscale train travel. The wait staff is accomodating and the food is abundant and very tasty. The train goes about 4 miles out and stops over a beautiful park like setting with a small stream and trees flowering in the spring or changing to the beautiful fall colors. You are never rushed and there is no one waiting for your table.
