Where the Rich and Famous Frolic by the Sea

 

On any given day in Malibu, CA you too can feel like the rich and famous who frolic by the sea!!  All you need is a car... for one simple reason...Malibu is 27 miles long.  Of course, you will probably want a convertible when you take the long leisurely drive down  the coast on PCH to what is one of the most scenic locations near Los Angeles.

 What to see and do:

Check out Nobu on Pacific Coast Highway...nearly a day doesn't go by without a star sighting here...and great sushi!

Take an Afro-Salsa dance class with Corey Coombs at Oracle in the Spruzzo's shopping center! 9am Monday through Friday! You will have a blast and get the best workout of your life!

Enjoy some amazing Magic and Wine Tasting with David Minkin, International Champion Magician at Beau Rivage.  Be sure to make a reservation in advance...

While at the Malibu Country Mart, hang out in the park with the local kids on the swings and have some lunch at John's Garden, Malibu Mutt, Howdy's or just a cup of Java at The Coffee bean and Tea Leaf...

Walk across PCH to find Third Point, a local surf break at Surfrider Beach...make famous by Gidget...and take a walk on the Malibu Pier...

Take a drive up the hill to Pepperdine University for a great view of the Pacific and not to mention a beautiful campus...

Head to Corral Canyon Road and take a hike in Solstice Canyon ahd if you're lucky...you will find a waterfall!

Or...hits Bluffs Park to see the locals play baseball and soccer and do a bit of whale watching...

If you are adventerous, go north to Point Dume Headlands, hike from the beach to the very top...for a view of a lifetime...stop by Zuma Beach

Then, hang with the bikers and surfers at Neptune's Net for a beer and some seafood..

Ok, grab a board and do a little surfing but remember....don't ever drop in on a locall!!
