Desert Hotels & Resorts

The California desert area of Palm Springs and the surroundings has long been a winter refuge  for both Californians and those who live in colder climes. It was a favorite playground of movie stars and politicians as evidenced by names you find in the area including Frank Sinatra Dr, Bob Hope Dr, Dinah Shore Dr, Gerald Ford Dr and the highly regarded Eisenhower Medical Center.

Each of the city has its own character, shopping, dining and attractions. Palm Springs is the home of many fine, hip boutique hotels; Palm Desert and Indian Wells have grand resorts with golf courses and big pools; Indio and Cathedral City will have more budget friendly conventional hotels.
