Shopping:

Mizner Park is the famously landscaped “it” spot for shopping in Boca Raton; the place to see and be seen. But beyond this, it has great shopping, with 45 specialty shops, 7 restaurants (generally pretty good) and a multiplex. Essentially an outdoor mall, the shops of Mizner Park face a beautiful green island covered in benches, plants, and gazebos. It is located on Federal Highway, between Palmetto Park and Glades roads: 561/362-0606.

For a less scenic but more wide-ranging shopping experience try the Town Center Mall, which has 7 large department stores (Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Burdines, Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue and others) and hundreds of specialty shops. It also has a large food court and other restaurants. It is located on the south side of Glades Road, just west of I-95.

Delray Beach (or Pineapple Grove) is a less lively district but with an artsy flair. Strolling along Atlantic Avenue you will find antiques, clothing, and galleries. For more information on shopping in this area, grab the Downtown Delray Beach map and guide at most stores on the strip, or call 561/278-0424.
