Be prepared to wait on various long lines before boarding the ship. Expect to pay tips to everyone and know that you cannot drink the water on the ship; you must buy water at $2 per bottle. Expect to see people, sometimes whole families sleeping all over the ship's floors and chairs, occupying most of the lounge chairs with themselves and their luggage. Expect that many areas of the ship have poor ventilation. Don't expect the entertainment to be more than someone singing and playing electric guitar with the guitar unplugged and a CD player booming. If your idea of a luxury cruise is sailing 5+ hours each way on a boat where you can't see through the dirty windows, and the brick and cement pool measures like 6' x 8', this is for you.
