Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is a shady, native tropical nature center and wildlife hospital is free to the public (donations gladly accepted) and a wonderful find in the heart of Jupiter. Perfect for those with children of all ages or those who enjoy learning about wildlife. The nature center has several easy trails  to view native species who have been brought in to the center for rehabilitation or can not be released into the wild because of their injuries.

The Native Florida exhibits include: Florida panthers, bobcats, fox, bald and golden eagles, otters, american crocodile and alligator, tortoises, box turtles, songbirds, hawks, kites, deer, turkey, roseated spoonbill, heron, cranes, raccoons, skunk, snakes, lizards, etc.  They offer several excellent wildlife shows during the day and have volunteers who roam the exhibits and give informational talks. Call to find out the schedule. They often have special activities on a seasonal basis. Gift store has interesting exhibits inside also. Shaded area with picnic tables makes this a fun place to snack or bring lunch.
