Duval Street and Mallory Square are two of the most famous geographic landmarks in Key West. Along with watersports, the arts scene, shopping and drinking, eating is one of the most popular pasttimes on the island. Combine the geography with the popular pasttime and you soon arrive at the Bagatelle. This restaurant has been at 115 Duval Street for nearly 30 years. An old home that was saved and relocated from Simonton Street it is now a cozy and convenient place to meet friends, enjoy a romantic meal, or watch the street life on busy Duval Street. You can make reservations or just walk-in and take your chances. Lunch is under $15 and very casual. Dinner is around $30 and runs the range from casual to dressy casual. Better than average wine list, great seafood, and a friendly staff make this a great destination. You can have a large private party on the back deck, dine indoors, or go alfresco on the wrap-around porches. A common plan is to catch sunset at Mallory and then walk over to the Bagatelle for a leisurely dinner overlooking the Duval Street crawl.
