Tremendous remodeling has made the Morris a beautiful modern facility with great sound and sight lines.

Check Morris Performing Arts Center. Located at 211 North Michigan Street, it is landmark for the performing arts. Since its inauguration in the early twenties, its stage has been honored by diverse artists as Frank Sinatra and Houdini. Morris is home to South Bend Symphony and Tickets can be purchased online or at the Theatre's box office Monday to Friday between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm and Saturdays until 2:00 pm. The theatre features Broadway Theatre League annual offering of national touring productions of Broadway musicals. Celtic Woman makes an annual stop, several PBS Celtic Woman productions have been filmed at the Morris and are available in wide release on DVD.

Opened in 1957, South Bend Civic Theatre is a community theatre company that boasts a yearly repertoire with the most diverse genres from comedy, American classics, and dramas. The theatre includes Main Stage presentations and more intimate stagings called the studio as well as children's shows. This year calendar includes American Buffalo, Always.. Patsy Cline, The Little Foxes and Tartuffe among other plays. Tickets cost around U$ 16 for Fridays and Saturdays shows and U$ 14 for Sundays events. The company puts on their shows at The Firehouse, located at 701 Portage Ave, and at Bend theatre.
